The National Library of Technology (NTK) is the largest and the oldest library of science and technology literature in the Czech Republic, with a collection of over 1.5 million volumes. Its primary function is to provide specialized information resources and services to students, teachers, and researchers in the fields of engineering and applied sciences, as well as to educate members of the general public interested in technical information.
Housed in a modern, ecological building situated in the heart of the Dejvice engineering and technology campus, NTK provides an ideal environment for studying to students and scholars, with 1,322 places to study and 562 places to relax. The library offers individual and team study rooms, classrooms, self-service print/scan/copy services, an After Hours Study Room open whenever the library is closed, reference services. In addition, the library serves as a social and cultural center, with frequent lectures, educational tours, events, and exhibitions.

Participants are asked to make their own travel arrangements. From the airport, NTK is comfortably reached by public transport or taxi.
By Bus
The buses of the line 59 leave the Airport approximately every 5 minutes between 04:20 and 23:30 from bus stations at both Terminal 1 – exit F and Terminal 2 – exit E and takes you next to the entry to the metro (station Nádraží Veleslavín). Then use metro line A (direction to Depo Hostivař) to the station Dejvická. The ride takes about 30 minutes. You can buy the ticket before boarding the bus at ticket vending machines at 40 CZK. Do not forget stamping it immediately after boarding the bus.
By taxi
For transfers to/from the airport use the services of Uber (Official taxi service at the airport). Taxi vehicles are available 24 hours a day right in front of the arrival halls of both terminals. You can also turn to the TAXI counters located in the terminal lobbies, where you can get information about the prices and other details. You can also learn more about the rides and fares from the TAXI dispatchers outside the halls at the taxi pick-up points.
Transport from the Central Railway Station (Hlavní nádraží)
From the central station use metro – red line C in the direction of Háje; change in the station Muzeum to green line A (in the direction of Nemocnice Motol) and go to the station Dejvická. You have to buy the ticket for 40 CZK and validate the ticket at the validating machines before entering the metro.
Transport from the Bus Terminal (Florenc)
From the bus station Florenc use metro – red line C in the direction of Háje (or line B in the direction of Zličín); change in the station Muzeum (or Můstek if using line B) to green line A (in the direction of Nemocnice Motol) and go to the station Dejvická. You have to buy the ticket for 40 CZK and validate the ticket at the validating machines before entering the metro.
